The service
Deadhead Finder matches owner-operators to backhaul loads from broker posts and, when a dispatcher connects a real API key, from DAT, Truckstop, or 123Loadboard. Until a live key is connected, loads labeled Sample are practice data, not freight you can book on those boards.
Accounts
You must use a US cell number you control. You are responsible for the truck, authority, insurance, and any load you actually haul. Claiming a match in the app does not book freight with a broker.
Plans
Free is 3 alerts per day. Pro is $29/month with no daily cap. Premium is $49/month and currently includes Pro; fuel-stop and scale-house features are planned, not shipped. Paid plans bill through Stripe. Cancel anytime in Settings.
SMS
Login codes and optional load alerts are sent only with your number. Consent is not a condition of buying a plan. You can pause alerts in Settings.
No warranty
Rates, miles, and deadhead figures are estimates. We are not a broker, and we do not guarantee a load is available, legal, or worth running. Use the information as a lead, then confirm with the broker.
